MAKE YOUR LIPSTICK LAST

Updated: Nov 9, 2021

Do you get tired of having to constantly reapply your lipstick throughout the day? Well, you've come to the right place. Below is a list of tips to help your lipstick last longer!

Lipstick won't last on its own for multiple reasons. The most prevalent being dry lips, the constant drinking out of bottles and cups all day, eating, sweating, etc.. Use these steps so you can stop worrying about your lipstick and get back to what you're doing!

𝔼𝕏𝔽𝕆𝕃𝕀𝔸𝕋𝔼

  • Exfoliate your skin a few times a week to get all that dry skin off

  • Try a lip scrub as needed.

  • Exfoliated lips will make for a smoother application and will decrease your chances of your lipstick looking cakey, cracked, and uneven.

ℙℝ𝔼ℙ

  • Prep your lips before applying lipstick! I recommend a vitamin E lip treatment.

  • Not only is this good for your lips, but it will prevent your lipstick from sliding by having something to adhere to.

𝕃𝕀ℕ𝔼

  • Line your lips with a lip crayon that matches your lipstick shade. This step will keep your lipstick from bleeding onto your skin. It will also make your lipstick look more precise

  • These lip crayons come in every color imaginable. Lip crayons don't have to break the bank either, there are a lot of drug store brands that are cheap and people will be none the wiser!

𝔹𝕃𝕆𝕋

  • Apply your first layer of lipstick, blot, then apply your second layer. This will keep your lipstick smooth and prevent it from sliding and getting cakey!

  • Just blot gently with a paper towel or tissue.

𝕊𝔼𝕋

  • Try setting your lipstick with a translucent powder. This will make your lipstick last way longer and can even give you a matte finish.

and if you are a lipstick connoisseur, I invite you to self indulge and check out our new AmieArtistry Lipstick collection! Starting out with 10 different shades that give your lips a silky touch.
